Hampton Court Palace - 27th June
A venue fit for a king!
Event:
Hampton Court Palace Golf Club
Date:
Friday 27th June 2008
A good day was had by all at the Total Golf Club Challenge at Hampton Court Palace Golf Club.
The weather was overcast and the wind was moderate providing a tough challenge to all golfers. The course was in good condition albeit the thick rough was proving to be very challenging. A closely fought battle at the top of the leader board saw Bob Barnes victorious with new member Siegfried Lohrish taking second place. Tim Salter took the longest drive crown with Siegfried nailing the nearest the pin award.
Mark Bailey, Len Stubbs and Tim Salter all played their role too in what was a good day and as ever the friendly competiveness was as strong as ever.
We are looking forward to welcoming everybody at the next event at Foxhills on the 15th of August.
Happy Golfing!
