Below are the Terms and conditions that apply to all Total Golf Club members.

Your membership contract will commence from date of activation, and is valid one year from this date.

Membership will be granted to persons of 18 years of age or above only.


Your membership card

You must not disclose your unique Total Golf Club number to any person other than membership services, golf officials and other persons to whom we authorise you to disclose your number and you must not allow any other person to use your membership card. The membership card is issued for your benefit only and is non-transferable.

We will always be the owner of your membership card. Accordingly, at any time during your membership, we may replace your membership card and upon termination of your membership you must return your card to us.

The membership card remains the property of Total Golf Club.


Club Benefits

You will be entitled to possess a membership card and apply for a handicap, subject to these terms for the duration of your membership. All other benefits that may be offered to you from time to time will be provided on a discretionary basis and may be revised, suspended or withdrawn by us at any time.


To obtain a handicap you must:

Play three rounds of golf for handicap purposes, and have your scorecard from those rounds signed by a marker.

Ensure that the scorecards are properly completed and have your name, membership number, date, gross scores, standard scratch score for the course you played and relevant signatures clearly marked on them and are posted to us at the contact address.

We will then calculate your handicap and issue an official Total Golf Club handicap card. Your handicap will be updated and accessible through Total Golf Club website - www.totalgolfclub.com.

You will only receive a certificate detailing your handicap when it changes but you can request a new certificate by contacting the membership office.


Your personal information

Total Golf Club and / or agents may use the personal information you provide or we otherwise hold about you to:

a) Identify you when you make enquiries by telephone, post, email or in person.

b) To help administer your accounts and your membership benefits including to write to, email or telephone you with information about such membership benefits from time to time.

c) To help us to detect fraud or loss.

Your personal data is also subject to the standard website privacy policy.

You can update your personal information via your personal profile page on Total Golf Club website. It is your responsibility to keep this information updated - we cannot communicate with you unless the information is correct.


Liability

We warrant that the membership services will be provided using reasonable care and skill. We do not warrant that their provision, including the operation of the Club Database, will be interrupted or error free and give no other warranty, guarantee or representation as to the performance of any of the same.

We do not exclude or restrict our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence or that of our agents, or any liability arising under Part One of the Consumer Protection Act 1987 and nothing in these terms limits or restricts this liability.

Nothing in these terms will affect your statutory rights as a consumer.


Preferential Rates on green fees

Membership of Total Golf Club allows the holder and one guest to play at participating courses at the published preferential green fee rate at time of play. Discounts are based on the standard adult Green Fee at the chosen course and are normally for one 18 hole round of golf, unless otherwise arranged at time of booking.

The holder is to present one more form of identification when presenting this card at participating golf courses.

The card can only be used at participating courses and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or promotion.

It is imperative to book PRIOR to using Total Golf Club Card, and holders must confirm that they are using Total Golf Club Card when booking. Please check the club's restrictions and availability. Total Golf Club Card cannot be used to book a company, association, or club competition.

This card provides the holder with personal liability insurance up to the value of £5 Million - full terms and conditions are available on request.


Definitions

In these terms:
'We' refers to Total Golf Club Membership services.
'Official Handicap' means Total Golf Club handicap system operated by membership services.


General

We may provide any membership benefit to you through any agent or sub-contractor appointed by us in our absolute discretion.

Nothing in these terms shall give rights to any person other than you.

Your order

Your order will be acknowledged via email within 24 hours. After completing your transaction online you will be given a unique reference number.

Your full membership pack including log in details to use the member-only website services, will be despatched by post within 28 days of the online transaction.

The product
Your Total Golf Club product is despatched by Royal Mail postal services.


Contracting Party
Your contract will be fulfilled by Total Golf Club part of Gemini Network Media Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under registered number 5616186 whose registered office is at 75 New Road, Willenhall, West Midlands, WV13 2DA together with its agents and sub-contractors.

This transaction is also subject to the standard website terms and conditions and privacy policy

When the contract is formed

When you click "Submit Order", you are making an offer to order a product which if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract.

We reserve the right not to accept or process your order for any reason. All orders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by your payment card issuer. If we do not accept your order and your credit/debit card has already been debited, we will notify you and refund your card in full immediately.


Right to refuse orders

We reserve the right not to fulfil and to cancel orders:

• in the event of obvious inaccuracies in prices, except that we may fulfil your order at the correct price;
• if we are unable to obtain payment authorisation from the issuer of your payment card.
